How we rank

Live public dollars. City limits only. No pay-to-rank. No invented numbers.

This page never names a shop.

  1. Rank what the island already posted. Widget or first-party published overnight 24-hour base. No invented dollars.
  2. City limits only. Port Aransas published rates only.
  3. No pay-to-rank. Money does not buy a slot.
  4. Board-only award. Rank-1 is Verified lowest price for that class board only — never cheapest in town.
  5. Same class only. 2 vs 2. 4 vs 4. 6 vs 6. 8 vs 8. Top 10 per size. If fewer than 10 qualify, list who qualifies.
  6. Overnight only. Per-24-hour widget. Same-calendar-day and two-day stays stay off.
  7. Unranked reason on the public board: No overnight 24hr widget as of the board-read date.
  8. Not in the dollar: delivery, pickup, beach parking permit, fuel, tax, deposit, extra driver, peak overlays that are not the published overnight base.
  9. Ties share the same rank number.
  10. A public freeze is minted only when a ranked widget changes or a shop flips ranked/unranked. Same dollars stay in the vault.
  11. Schedule: Sunday 6:00am CDT. In season, an extra Friday 6:00am CDT. Not updated daily.
